New Beginnings Association: helping the community since 1988

New Beginnings Association of Southern Alberta is a not-for-profit group serving adults with developmental disabilities since 1988.

This amazing organization was started by Lethbridge and area families to provide adults with developmental disabilities opportunities for education, daily living skills, recreation, socialization, and community involvement.

At New Beginnings, everyone is a person of value, that lives with dignity and respect, is challenged to their maximum potential, has the same human rights and privileges, and most importantly, has the right to live and function in the Lethbridge community. Each person at the New Beginnings Association is set up with their own individualized program to develop and enhance their quality of life.

Through skill development, leisure and recreation, physical health, and self-determination and awareness, the New Beginnings Association is another great example of a Lethbridge organization that knows how to “Amplify” its community.
